Currently I am a Research Scientist at Google. My current work concerns speech recognition and processing, multimodal learning, recurrent and sequence generative models, and representation learning.
I received my PhD degree at MILA, University of Montreal. My undergraduate degree is in solid state physics. Then, I received a master degree in computer science at St Petersburg Academic University. My focus there was on graphical models for rating systems.
Since I started my PhD I worked on end-to-end speech recognition with attention networks and it’s extension for large vocabulary case. In 2016 I did an internship at IBM Watson. And at Facebook AML in 2017. The topics of these internships were domain adaptation and spoken language understanding.
